Learning solutions from Best by Design meet your learners where they are and help them navigate to where they need to be. It focuses on their why, what and how:


  • Why: Sometimes learning needs to connect your people with why they do what they do – buy-in to purpose, mission, and values. 
  • What: Sometimes it’s about what they do – specific practical skills, performance requirements, legal and procedural essentials. 
  • How: Other times, it’s the how – shaping human behaviour, culture, collaboration, conduct.

Four steps to working in partnership

I take a simple and powerful four-step approach to solving your learning challenges:


  1. Listen and explore. We start with conversations that get under the skin of your goals. Where are your people now? Where do you need them to be? What solution will move them from here to there?
  2. Co-design. Together we put the pieces of your learning project in place. We build, iterate and refine a design that's tailored to your people, your goals, your timescale, and your budget.
  3. Deliver. This might mean I facilitate high-impact sessions, build digital tools, or create resources and sessions that my associates or your teams can cascade with confidence.
  4. Measure success. Track engagement, application, and impact. What changes? What improves as a result of the learning?


Outcome: learning that makes a difference, that people remember, use and that helps them be their best. By design.
